The P0339 code is registered when the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an irregular signal or has failed to detect one from the crankshaft position sensor. Common causes of the P0339 code include a defective crankshaft position sensor or reluctor wheel, damaged wiring, poor connections, faulty PCM, or timing belt issues.
Place the new sensor in its socket. Reinstall the mounting screws and torque to around 15 to 20 ft-lbs. Reinstall the electrical connector. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Start the engine. The check engine light should be out. However, if it is a stored code, you may need to use a code reader to clear the code.
Crank or camshaft position sensors and engine speed sensors are similar devices that operate based on pulse detection and counting. The fundamental components of these sensors include a toothed disc mounted on the shaft, a stationary detector and electronic circuitry (Fig-1). The disc has teeth or marks distributed evenly around the circumference.
Here are the steps to replace it. 1. Jack up the right front of the truck and use a jackstand to secure it so you can fit under the truck. (or use ramps) 4. crawl under the truck and remove the 3 bolts (13mm) and the electrical connections to the A/C compressor and the crank sensor.

Failed Emissions Test: When the engine is not performing properly, it will not be able to burn fuel efficiently. This can lead to increased emissions. Smell of Gas: Unburned fuel can make its way out of your tailpipe which can produce a noticeable smell of gas. Car Will Not Start: Over time, as the camshaft position sensor fails, the signal it
Code P0320 Ford Description. The Ignition Failure Sensor is used to check whether the spark ignition is occurred correctly or not, and it is also used to tachometer drive. The sensor monitors the voltage difference between a resistance on the battery circuit for the ignition coil. When the ignition coil works properly, the electric current
